Wu Mart Launched smart shopping cart that scans and checks out
Wu Mart is first major retailer to use Super Hii’s AI-powered shopping cart.
In 2017 ,Wu Mart has begun using an “intelligent” shopping cart from Super Hii Inc. that keeps track of groceries that customers select and enables them to pay without having to go through the checkout lane.
Until now ,Wu Mart has launched more than 1000Pcs smart shopping carts in Wu Mart supermarket in Beijing and Hangzhou .Wu Mart expects to increase sales and improve customer shopping experience .
Branded as the Wu Mart Smart Cart, the high-tech unit uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to scan and weigh products as customers put them in the cart. A touchscreen near the cart’s handle displays a running tally of items selected, and an attached a point-of-sale card terminal allows customers to pay for their purchases right on the cart. Shoppers bag their own groceries, and once payment is completed they exit the store. The Smart Carts are retrieved and returned inside the store.

At present ,when customers go shopping with Super Hii smart shopping cart ,they need to scan barcodes to make the smart shopping carts identify the goods.
As for the loss prevention system, Super Hii smart shopping carts have multiple theft prevention and loss prevention algorithm ,it can notify the client with unscanned goods ,then ensuring the safety of the goods .
In the future,when the smart shopping carts are upgraded, customers will be able to toss their items into the Smart Shopping Cart without having to enter any information or scan barcodes because of the cart’s sensitive weight measures. (Editor :Cindy Xin)
